- I am Matthijs Endt, student of philosophy and full-time smart-ass as a result. I have a great admiration for the philosophy of David Hume. Any philosopher worth his salt will know why. He has raised many of the philosophical questions that still haunt us today. Non-philosophers, however, may not understand this fan boyish attitude towards him. This is why I have started this blog:I will be summarizing David Hume's Treatise of Human Nature from beginning till end, making some comments along the way in order to highlight the main points that are being made by Hume.
